No Giri Choco for me
Well today is that dreaded day for all us single people. Valentine's Day. It's been 9 years since I've receieved anything on Valentine's day.In Japan Valentine's day is the day for women to give to the guys. Sometimes if they feel like it you get "giri choco" which could be directly translated as "duty chocolate". Given to male friends. No giri choco for me though  I suppose I could look at it as a positive. I don't have to give any giri choco on "Waito Day" (white day). The day the guys have to pay the girls back for Valentine's day which is March 14th. |
