We're watching a medical drama at Japanese school which of course is very difficult because of all the medical terms. But, the most intersting thing to me, at least in the first episode was that there was a surgery scene and just after the surgery the 2 surgeons rushed out of the surgery room to a sofa directly outside the door of the surgery room and lit up cigarettes.

I kind of thought that would never happen in America now, both on a TV drama and in real life or at least not much. I couldn't find any info on the percent of doctors that smoke in America but I did find this site about how Doctors recommend Camel cigarettes.
