giri "giri" probably literally means "obligation" but that is not what I would consider a good translation of giri-choco.  giri-choco is any chocolate you receive on Valentine's day from someone who is not in romantically in love with you.  I think "friendship chocolate" is a better translation. posted by greggmanFebruary 14, 2004 at 20:15 [ e ]

OK This was last month but.... My girlfriend is from Osaka.  The なめたらあかんでぇ～  is not literally translated but loosley means do not even think about messing with me...  it is an Osaka thing.   Also Yes,  Osaka women are bigger up top.  Something in the water I guess...
