Please Help Me Identify Some Music
Please Help Me Identify Some Music I'm trying to find a couple of songs I heard at a show the other day. One is Japanese or maybe it's a Japanese remake of an English song. The other is Spanish I think. I recorded a short segment of each song with my camera. If you happen to know the names of the songs please post them below. I'd really like to find them.

Song #1: Don't Need Any Love

Song #2: Spanish Song

I can confirm the links are fixed, and that I know neither song.  However, this reminds me that iTunes can apparently recognize "signatures" of audio files.  This happened to me last year, and I've still got the source media to reproduce the occurance.

We had a really cool thing for that in Finland [ e ]

... but unfortunately it was a tech demo, and isn't available anymore.

You could call a number with your mobile, let the answering system 'hear' 10 secs what you were listening to (I tried it twice in my car and it really worked), and within a minute you'd get a text message with the name of the artist and the song.

I thought it was a killer app, but apparently it wasn't since it wasn't made into a commercial service.

Man,

You made one of my favourite games, I even have the sound them as a ring tone for my mobile....I am talking about McKids

The Spanish song is :

Infierno , Artist : Muchachito Bimbo

Album : Vamos que nos vamos

Translations:

Muchachito means Kid in spanish and Bimbo also means kid in Italian.

Vamos que nos vamos means something like "let's go,we're on the move"

Infierno means hell in spanish.

PS If you need some other translations come to my site

Virgin Mobile did pick up this technology.  It's called "Song ID"  Didn't recognize this song, though.

spanish song [ e ]

Hi Gregg, i've been visiting your blog for quite some time and find it very interesting: thank you for sharing.

Anyway, about the spanish song, as mentioned above is from "Muchachito", from their debut album "Bombo Infierno". Muchachito is one of the newest groups playing what it is called "Sonido Barcelona" (Barcelona Sound), a mix of flamenco, hip-hop, rock, and pop. If you like "Muchachito", I would very much recommend you to check out "Ojos de Brujo".

Hope that helps.

spanish song [ e ]

name of the song it's 115 and the name of the band it's muchachito BOMBO infierno; it's because, live, he plays guitar and bombo at the same time. the rest of the translation it's ok, plus just one note: muchachito means little boy, not exactly kid... just 'cause he's a small big man ;)

greets from spain

The other song [ e ]

thank you all for helping me identify one of the songs above.

I went to the event I heard them at before and ask about the first song.

It's by Maki Rinka (マキ凛花). The song is called "Lonely Girl Blues" and it's on her Cinematica Album. There's a clip on her website.  The CD is available on Amazon Japan.
