LocoRoco Book and CD
A LocoRoco guide book came out a few days ago here in Japan.


The book contains maps for all 40 of the main levels.


and it contains a couple of pages of stickers.



It's only 900yen (about $8) so if you are stuck finding everything in a level or if you want the stickers head over to your a Japan bookstore or Online bookstore and pickup a copy. (ISBN4-7966-5458-5)


There's also a soundtrack CD coming out on the October 18th.

psp game dev [ e ]

Its quite strange, I was checking out some flash games online and eventually found my way here. My gf loves locoroco and bought the book yesterday whilst i was trying to find the new wanda art book (sold out :( ). I ve been reading up on psp games as the next game I want to design will be for PSP (i work in london atm on an un announced 360/ps3 game). loco roco seems to me a perfect psp game, great use of the landscape screen and colour and the controls are great. I de like to do something like lr when i finish my current game. In the meantime i`d like to do some simple 2d stuff and put down some ideas. anyway, just wanted to say congrats on a milestone game in gaming history and I`d love to see a version on the ps3 using the tilt this time (or a psp sequel using a motion sensor on the umd).
