Maybe I should have a better rating system or maybe I should break them down into different reasons to go as in one rating for the food, another for the service, another for the ambiance, another for the view etc.

But, currently I just rate it all together on a scale of 1 to 5.  Here is approximately what those ratings mean.

5	Excellent! Awesome! An experience I cherish. You must go here!  You will not regret it one bit
4	A place I love and want to go again and again.
3.5	Above average.  Generally I use this when the place was interesting enough and good enough that I can recommend it but not so interesting that you should go out of your way to go.  More like when you happen to be in the area and you are looking for something try this.
3	Average but nothing that would prevent me from going
2	Not good but not so bad that I would cause a fuss if others ended up making me go
1	Awful!.  You could not make me enter the place a second time.
