Glendale police say that Mardiros Iskenderian, the 56-year-old Armenian-Lebanese immigrant who ran the popular family-owned Zankou Chicken restaurant chain, shot and killed his 45-year-old sister Dzovig Marjik, and his 75-year-old mother Margueritte Tuesday afternoon at Marjik痴 Verdugo Hills home, before taking his own life. I understand from the woman sitting next to me at a fund raiser this afternoon that the murder was all about money. Seems the "killer" had brain cancer and knew he was dieing and wanted to leave money to his sons. His mother (who was "generally unpleasent") wanted the money for herself....and that's what happened.
You have no clue what you are talking about! He was terminally ill and had been acting crazy , due to the brain cancer, for a period of time.

I a very close person to the fam n zankou chiken... so if u think the killer killed him self just to leave money to his sons well its true.. so is when they say it was crazy! U know brain cancer! But it wasn't his foult he was just scared to be doing things right so he turned into a killer!
